Meet at the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center, 717 General Booth Blvd., to discuss Remarkably Bright Creatures, a novel about a widow's unlikely friendship with a giant Pacific octopus living in an aquarium. After our discussion, staff from the Virginia Aquarium will share biofacts about cephalopods and show us selected exhibits.
The book is available in print, large print, and audiobook for pick up at the Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library for registered participants to read prior to the discussion. This title is also available as an e-book and streaming audiobook.
