Join us in a discussion of The Other Black Girl by Zakiyah Dalila Harris. After being the only black girl in a large publishing house for years, Nella is thrilled at the arrival another sistah. She imagines them doing lunch, hanging out after work, and sharing gossip and news from the neighborhood. For a brief while, things do work, but then it seems that Hazel, the newbie, starts undermining her, giving her bad advice and throwing her under the bus at meetings with their editor. Is it crabs in a barrel or something more sinister?
