Enjoy a small-group storytime designed to allow children to explore a variety of sensory experiences.

¡Bienvenidos a la hora del cuento bilingüe! This special story time for ages 3-5 will be presented in Spanish and English. We’ll sing songs and read books together presented in both languages. ¡Ven a pasar un rato maravilloso!

Learn how to complete common basic tasks, including creating and formatting simple documents. Prerequisites: Ability to use a computer mouse/keyboard or have taken Computers for Beginners. We encourage you to bring a USB drive to save your work.

Get those fingers working! Build hand/eye coordination and muscles in your child's hand. Practice skills like cutting with scissors, writing, and drawing with fun learning activities. Ages 3 - 8 with a caregiver. Registration is required.

It’s close to the end of the semester! Come to the library for a dedicated place to study and work on your final projects as individuals or groups with brain breaks provided. Grades 9-12. Registration not required.  

Rotating competition is organized by the club coordinator.  Knowledge of chess rules is required; limited instruction may be provided for beginners.  Chess equipment has been generously donated by Virginia Chess Federation, private donor

Teen artists and their guests are invited to join us to celebrate the artwork created during the month of May for the Tiny Art Show project.  Walk the gallery, talk to the artists, tour the teen space and learn about our summer programming.
