Come celebrate Earth Day by decorating Kempsville's Poet-ree.  Learn about basic rhyme structure, hear some famous nature poems, play with magnetic poetry and make a unique art piece to hang in our Youth area.  Grades 2-5.

For blossoming young artists with a pencil! Come to this Drawing Club for Kids to draw and hang out. This relaxed environment is inclusive and will have themed challenges/drawing games available to participant in.

Join us for an exciting adventure into the world of coding and robotics with Ozobots! This hands-on workshop will ignite creativity and critical thinking as participants learn to program their own miniature robots.

Calling all tweens! Here's your chance to meet other tweens, make new friends, and enjoy fun activities. In honor of Earth Day, this month we will create something new from recycled materials. Grades 4-6. Registration is required.

Love reading? Join us for our tween book club! This month's book is the City of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau. Grades 4-6. Registration required.  

Visit the bookmobile at Celebrating Children! This free community event includes family-friendly entertainment, a 1-mile fun run, inflatables, games, crafts, resources, exhibitors, and so much more! Registration is not required.
