Boost independence and develop social skills using writing activities, basic concepts (i.e., colors, shapes, letters, etc.), large muscle movement, and social-emotional learning opportunities focusing on the whole child. Age 2 with caregiver.

Build confidence and independence with an increased focus on more complex books, emphasizing alphabet and letter recognition, shapes, and hands-on activities. Age 3 with caregiver. Registration is required.

There are lots of ways to make music.  Join us as we use a variety of instruments, our voices and our bodies. Feel free to bring in your own instruments from home. You will make your own instrument to take home.  Age 2.

Come discover the local wildlife of Virginia Beach with your young Nature Pals! Each month we will explore a different group of animals in this free grownup and me program for ages 3-8.

April 8th is National Library Worker's Day! Come pretend to be a librarian. "Check" books in and out, read to a stuffed animal, and create a fun craft. Practice creative problem solving, and language skills while engaging in imaginative play!

Looking for creative ways to be more sustainable? Join us for an afternoon of activities for all ages, including Citizen Science, microplastics education, crafts with reusable materials and more! All ages. Registration is not required.
