This one-hour weekly class will focus on pronunciation problem areas for learners of English.

Participants will read a story together and then find parts of the story that repeat to make a "chorus." We will use rhythm instruments to play the song and sing along!

Join us for a morning of crafting fun! Bring your own project or start something new. All craft supplies are provided. Grades K-5.

Connect and share with other blind and visually impaired persons. Open to all, this program is presented during our Seeing Beyond Low-Vision series. Segments of the program may describe the details of visual elements. Adults.

Use your imagination to build creations out of stackable bricks and other materials. Grades K-5. Registration is not required.

Bring your preschooler to learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math in this interactive program. This month we will be learning about clouds! Age 3-5 with caregiver. Registration is required.

Join for this preschool pretend play where we will make cups, cakes, picnic blankets and more for Frog and Toad to have a tea party.  Ages 3-5. Registration required.

Still have activities to color in on your Learning Adventure map?  We will have supplies and volunteers to help you get those few things done and finish the summer strong!  Ages 3-5.  No registration required.

JUL is adding to their Community Rock Garden! Stop by any time and decorate a rock to be added to our garden. The rocks will be on display outside of the Children's Room toy area windows starting 8/18/2025.

Rotating competition is organized by the club coordinator.  Knowledge of chess rules is required; limited instruction may be provided for beginners.  Chess equipment has been generously donated by Virginia Chess Federation, private donor
