We're only a week away from the start of Kwanzaa and you might be asking yourself, Wait, what is Kwanzaa? Join us to explore and learn about Kwanzaa, a celebration of 7 core values: Umoja (Unity), Kujichagulia (Self-Determination), Ujimma( Collective Work and Responsibility), Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics), Nia (Purpose), Kuumba (Creativity), and Imani (Faith). Discover its significance through songs, crafts, and stories. Don't forget our canned food drive to spread goodwill. Goods donated will go to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore.
Registration is not required, however supplies are limited.
