Mini-Comics Workshop

In this workshop, students will cut, fold, and draw to create their own mini-comic. An Arts for Learning teaching artist will guide students as they invent characters, plots, and settings for an adventure inside the pages of a mini-comic. Funding through Virginia Beach Arts and Humanities Commission and Helen G. Gifford Foundation.

Nfon Asuquo is a clothing designer, painter, and graphic designer in Virginia Beach. He received his B.A. in Studio Art from Chowan University and is pursuing his Master of Fine Arts in Visual Studies at Norfolk State University.

Grades 4-6. Registration is required.
