Meet at Lake Lawson/Lake Smith Natural Area for this outdoor book club dedicated to bring nature and adventure to adults. Spend more time outdoors to appreciate and learn about nature and books while you get exercise! 

The Lake Lawson/Lake Smith Natural Area is a 42-acre preserve located at the corner of Shell Road and Northampton Blvd. 

A Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation Naturalist will guide us on a one-hour walk over varied terrain including both hard and soft trails. Library staff will share highlights from outstanding nature books in the Virginia Beach Public Library collection. Chat with other nature enthusiasts about books you have read. 

Adults. Registration is required. 

Note: Please bring water and suitable footwear and clothing. Registrants will be notified of any schedule changes the day before the program.
