Details

Build a special home for the fairies to visit.  It may have many visitors-grasshoppers, squirrels, toads, crickets and more. For children in K-5th grade.  Register online to reserve your spot, then watch the Library's Fairy House video on YouTube. 

On the day of the program:

  • Please bring natural items to build with such as feathers, stones, shells, flowers, bark, pinecones, sticks, vines, seeds, seed pods, berries, washed eggshells, etc.
  • Since all building sites will be on the mulched or grassy area outside the library, you might want to bring a towel to sit or kneel on as you build. 
  • Before building, check in at our fairy house table in front of the library to pick up a bag of basic supplies. 
  • Select from the available numbered building sites and begin building. 

Please dress comfortably for the weather and plan to bring water for your family.
